FCL FAQs

What Do We Do in FCL Services?

We provide a range of FCL shipping options tailored to fit different requirements. No matter door to door, port to port, port to door, or door to port, we ship your cargo from wherever you want to anywhere within our global network.

How is FCL pricing calculated?

FCL pricing is usually based on:

  • Container type and size
  • Origin & destination ports
  • Carrier rates & surcharges (BAF, CAF, etc.)
  • Seasonality or space availability

For more information, please go to page of get a quote. Your request will get prompt attention.

Can I load multiple types of goods in one FCL shipment?

Yes, as long as all goods are compatible and allowed to be shipped together under customs and safety regulations. Proper documentation is still required for each type of item.

What should I consider when choosing FCL over LCL?

Choose FCL when:

  • You have enough cargo to fill most of a container
  • You want faster transit (LCL takes longer due to consolidation)
  • You want more control, security, and less handling of goods
  • Your cargo is high-value, sensitive, or requires dedicated space

Can I request a specific shipping line or vessel?

Yes, if you have preferences (e.g. Maersk, COSCO, ZIM), we can check availability and pricing accordingly. However, vessel space and schedule flexibility may vary by carrier.

Can I load hazardous materials in an FCL container?

Yes, but it must comply with IMDG (International Maritime Dangerous Goods) regulations. We'll need the MSDS, UN number, and special packing instructions. Prior approval is required by the shipping line.

How much cargo can fit in a 20ft, 40ft or 45HQ container?

The capacity varies based on the container type and size:

  • 20ft container: 28-30 CBM
  • 40gp container: 58-60 CBM
  • 40hq container: 65-70 CBM
  • 45hq container: 75-80 CBM

Due to dimentions of cartons, pallets, and other packaging are usualy not perfctly aligned with cotnaienrs interior space, the container space cannot be fully utilized 100%. Ues our container loading calculator to preview how many boxes and CBM can be loaded

What if my cargo exceeds container weight limits?

  • Split the cargo across two containers
  • Use tri-axle trucks and durable packaging materials
  • Apply for special overweight permits (may cause delays/costs)
